Idaho Pasture Pigs

Idaho Pasture Pigs are the perfect fit for our farm, combining excellent temperament with sustainable farming benefits. This unique breed was developed with homesteaders in mind, blending Kune Kune (for their friendly nature) with Duroc and Berkshire (for efficient growth and high-quality meat). Unlike traditional pigs, they are natural grazers, requiring less grain while being gentle on the land—meaning no excessive rooting or destruction of pastures.

These medium-sized pigs reach a butcher weight of approximately 275 lbs in 10-11 months, with boars averaging 450 lbs and sows around 350 lbs. If you’re interested in learning more, we’d love to chat—contact us anytime to talk all things pigs!

Colorado Mountain Dogs

Our Colorado Mountain Dogs are specially bred to be the perfect livestock guardians for small farms and homesteads. Developed with the needs of small-acreage farmers in mind, this newer breed offers strong protective instincts without the excessive barking or wandering common in traditional guardian breeds.

What truly sets them apart is their gentle temperament—they are naturally accepting of unfamiliar people, making them trustworthy protectors without unnecessary aggression or suspicion. Whether safeguarding livestock or providing loyal companionship, these dogs bring security, stability, and peace of mind to any farm.

Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys, & Guinea Fowl

Our farm is home to a diverse flock of free-range laying hens, a few lucky roosters, and seasonally raised Cornish Cross meat chickens—known for their incredibly juicy, flavorful meat. Our hens roam freely, producing delicious, nutrient-rich eggs, while our Cornish Cross chickens are carefully raised to provide high-quality, farm-fresh poultry.

Beyond chickens, we also raise ducks, heritage turkeys, and guinea fowl, allowing us to offer a variety of seasonal eggs including duck, guinea, and turkey eggs, as well as Thanksgiving turkeys. Whether you’re looking for fresh eggs or pasture-raised poultry, our birds are raised with care to ensure the best quality for your table.
